Gangster Aziz Reddy alias Baba Reddy was shot dead by the Hyderabad police in the posh Jubilee hills area of the city on Wednesday night. Thirteen people died and 99 others were rescued after a Navy speed boat crashed into a ferry off the Mumbai coast on Wednesday afternoon. The ferry was on its way to Elephanta Island, a popular tourist attraction near Mumbai. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the Navy boat moving in circles at high speed before the collision. The Navy personnel in the craft died after his leg was cut in the accident. The ferry did not have enough life jackets for all the passengers.
Two labourers were killed when an under-construction four-storied building collapsed in Narayanguda area of Hyderabad on Friday afternoon. As the building, which is located next to the Brilliant Grammar High School, came crashing down, ten labourers got stuck under its debris.The police, fire brigade and municipal corporation's emergency squad, along with the help of the local people, managed to rescue two labourers.
